Crust — «Where Light Fears to Descend»

«Where Light Fears to Descend» is pressed on smoke-colored cassettes in matte slipcases. Crust's new album sounds considerably darker than their previous work, which leaned more toward post-metal and sludge. The new songs show a clear shift toward death-black metal with post-metal elements, building an oppressive, bleak atmosphere. Thematically, the album draws on philosophy and theology, exploring fear and resistance in the face of chaos and destruction.
